Music is my life. Playing, performing, discovering, sharing, teaching and dancing give me the energy and vitality to live.
I started playing trombone as a child and quickly moved on to learning guitar, bass and piano. Over the years I have learnt drums, sax and just about any instrument I can get my hands on.
I have worked in just about every area of the music industry from events and performance, working in studios and instrument maintenance and sales. I have taught privately and in the classroom and have had the pleasure of working with artists from many different countries.
In my free time I go to gigs, jam sessions, open mics and I collect west African LPs.

Learn what you want, the way you want.
With a PGCE and a master’s degree in education, I have taught music, mathematics, and science for over ten years. I have experience with private tuition and classroom teaching and have worked in high schools for seven years. I find it a joy to share my love of music and it has been a privilege to work with students aged five and aged eighty and all ages in between.
I think that in music lessons, you should be free to express yourself creatively, develop a range of skills and most importantly have fun! If you want to learn more about instruments or music production, I would love to support you on your musical journey.
